Ma’anshan Employs Pipe Prefabrication Lines

Recently, Chinese first prefabrication production line for gas pipeline has been put into production at Fuma Industrial Zone in Ma’anshan. This production line can manufacture 40 thousand sets of gas pipeline fittings for residential users. Production efficiency has been greatly improved, as well as the quality of products. 

 

In the past, manufacture of gas pipeline fittings was operated on the construction site. The bad work environment increases not only the labor intensity of workers, but also the security risks of construction. 

 

For now, the fittings are made in manufacturing shops previously before being transported to housing estate for installment. This effectively improves the working status of workers. What’s more, it also enhances their work efficiency while decreasing energy consumption. 

 

In terms of quality of products, pipeline fittings manufactured by old type diehead threading machines are rough and uneven. Their precision level is also low.

Nevertheless, pipe fittings produced by new type threading machines have even surface and regular threads. During installment, no more sealing materials are needed to prevent from leaking. The security coefficient is greatly increased. What’s more, workers' labor intensity is declined obviously with improving work efficiency.
