This technical article indicates eight tips of stainless steel pipefitting transportation and process.

1. The convey of stainless steel pipefitting materials cannot be connected with other metal, which should be added some non-metallic materials such as plank or rubber sheet.

2. The arc starting and arc stopping of stainless steel pipefitting: arc starting adopts back welding, arc stopping should fill in the crater and arc starting should be done inside the groove. Arc starting and arc stopping on the pipe or pipefitting surface is not allowed. Pore or cracks and other defects should be handled.

3. The multi-channel and layer welding should be staggered.

4. The temperature among layers should not exceed 60℃ during the continuous welding of stainless steel pipefitting.

5. Weld joint should be protected by argon when welding pipefitting materials and positioning the pipefitting.

6. General grinding wheel is not allowed to cut the pipeline, and we should use specific grinding wheel or plasma.

7. After welding, the weld joint should proceed pickling and passivation.

8. Hydrostatic test of stainless steel pipefitting has some requirements for water temperature and quality. Its temperature should not be less than 5℃; the chloridion content in the water should not be more than 25Pmm.
